Terms of Sale and Licence
Last updated: [FILL IN: date]
Who you are buying from
Frontier is made by Stoned Audio Ltd ([FILL IN: company number, registered address, contact email]). Sales are processed by Moonbase as merchant of record. [FILL IN: confirm how Moonbase describes this, and link its terms]
Your licence
- Buying Frontier gives you a licence to use it, not ownership of the software.
- One licence may be activated on up to [FILL IN: number] computers at a time. You can deactivate a computer to move the licence to another.
- The licence is [FILL IN: personal / for one person or one studio; transferable or not].
- You may use Frontier, its presets, samples and impulse responses in music and audio you make, including commercial releases. [FILL IN: confirm; check the shipped sample and impulse-response licences allow this]
- You may not copy, share, resell or crack Frontier or its licence, or redistribute its presets, samples or impulse responses on their own.
Activation
Frontier must be activated with your Stoned Audio account before it makes sound. It checks its licence online from time to time, and keeps working offline for up to [FILL IN: 7 days, unless changed] between checks. Computers that are never online can be activated offline.
Trials and the beta
[FILL IN: trial length and limits, if any; what beta testers receive and for how long]
Refunds and cancellation
[FILL IN: refund policy. Under UK law, consumers buying digital content can lose the 14-day cancellation right only if they gave consent and acknowledged this before the download began; check how Moonbase's checkout handles that.]
Updates and support
[FILL IN: which updates are included, and how to get support]
Liability
[FILL IN: limits of liability, written so as not to exclude your statutory rights as a consumer]
Governing law
[FILL IN: e.g. the laws of England and Wales]
